Backed by the Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs, the new e-gift card makes it easy to shop, dine, stay and play downtown.
The digital card joins the long-standing physical version, both of which can be redeemed at more than 150 Downtown businesses, from restaurants and retail shops to salons, attractions and hotels.
“The Downtown Colorado Springs Gift Card has always been about encouraging people to keep their dollars local,” said Carrie Simison, Director of Membership, Marketing & Communications. “The new digital option meets people where they are — on their phones — and allows quick delivery and payment via tap-to-pay in digital wallets.”
Gift Cards can be sent within minutes through the free Love Local app, offering a convenient option for last-minute gifts and an effortless way to support the city’s urban core. Since its launch in September 2009, more than $1.1 million in Downtown Gift Cards have been sold, including over $113,000 since the move to Miconex in August 2024. This is money that can only be spent at participating downtown businesses — locking spend into the heart of the city.

The Downtown Colorado Springs Gift Card program is part of a broader initiative from fintech Miconex, in partnership with EML Payments.
