The new Downtown Red Deer Gift Card can be spent with a wide variety of participating businesses downtown including services, retail and hospitality. Cards can be purchased online with delivery direct to the recipient and in person.
Amanda Gould is Executive Director at Red Deer DBA and said the new Gift Card will encourage recipients to experience all that downtown has to offer:

Downtown business Tacoloft accepts the new Downtown Red Deer Gift Card. Owner Mike Ubing said: “Located in the heart of downtown Red Deer on the Ross Street Patio, Tacoloft is the place for fresh tacos, brunch and more. We love the simplicity of the Downtown Red Deer Gift Card, and think the program will help increase foot traffic for all businesses downtown. It’s a win win!”
Sunworks Living is also participating in the Downtown Red Deer Gift Card. Owner Paul Harris said: “Sunworks Living is a carefully curated shop with a 25 year history here in Red Deer. We specialize in products that bring you joy, help you improve your life, and create warm fuzzy feelings in your world. We also have coffee and lunch. As a gift shop, we understand that shoppers are looking for unique gift options, and the Downtown Red Deer Gift Card checks all the boxes. City Roast Coffee is another hospitality business which accepts the Downtown Red Deer Gift Card. The technology for the Downtown Red Deer Gift Card is provided by fintech Miconex in association with international payments technology solutions provider EML Payments. Miconex operates its Downtown Gift Card concept across Canada.
