A new partnership between Town & City Gift Cards and global Gift Card network Tillo is bringing the power of local to leading corporate reward and recognition platforms.
Organisations can now access 75 digital Town & City Gift Cards for major cities, tourist hotspots and vibrant towns across the UK and Ireland through reward platforms including Perkbox and Voucherline.
Delivered by fintech Miconex, Town & City Gift Cards can be spent with big brands and independent businesses in the town or city the card is branded to, locking spend into local communities and driving a ‘shop local’ ethos.
Miconex announced over £24m in local Gift Card sales across its network in 2025, an increase of 60% on 2024 as shoppers make the move to local Gift Cards to show support for local businesses.
Corporate sales were a key driver of Gift Card sales in 2025 for Miconex, primarily organisations purchasing local Gift Cards for their employees. 2025 Miconex research found that 82% of organisations said supporting local has become more important to them while the GCVA found almost a third of UK consumers purchase Gift Cards to funnel support to local companies.
All in one reward and benefits platform Perkbox is one of the first platforms to offer Town & City Gift Cards to its users, which includes over 7,500 organisations.
