# My discount or coupon code is not working

## If you have a special offer to purchase a Gift Card, please see here for FAQs and troubleshooting

- If you are using a discount code or 'coupon code' as it is referred to at Town & City Gift Cards, please check you have copied and pasted the correct code at checkout here:

Click on 'Click here to enter your code'

Once you have pasted or typed your coupon code, click 'Apply Coupon'. After a few seconds, your basket on the right hand side should update to the new discounted price.

- If you receive this message 'Coupon "XXX" does not exist!' as per the below image, please check you have typed in the correct code. Please check if there are any capital letters.

- If you have a code that is one use, you will not be able to reuse it for a second card order.
- If you have a code that cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or codes, you can only use that code on it's own i.e please do not try to enter further codes at checkout.
- Codes that are stated as 'autoapply', you should not have to do anything and the basket with automatically update with the discounted amount.
- Please note, not all codes are automatically eligible for free postage unless stated in the offer.
