how it works: 

A Downtown Gift Card is a prepaid Visa which can be spent at registered businesses only. Both national brands and independent businesses can easily accept Downtown Gift Cards with no additional equipment required. Cards are issued as either physical cards, or digital cards which can be spent using Google and Apple wallets.
