Can I still make a purchase at a business if I do not have enough funds for the full transaction?
If there is insufficient funds on the gift cards in relation to the value being charged then the card will decline.
The Gift Card can however be used as part of a split tender transaction. The business simply needs to process a split transaction on their terminal, firstly by taking the balance of the gift card as a debit card transaction, then the remaining balance can be paid using any other accepted form of payment by the business.
